Here are the options for Saranac for Cabins. Please choose one if you are planning on going. We need to make a decision on this ASAP.

Option #1
"The Pines"
http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR5160.html
450 for the weekend - sleeps 10 - 45/person
30 miles from Saranac and 45 from Placid
downstairs recreation area with pool table

Option #2
"Fletcher Farm"
http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR5655.html
600 for the weekend - sleeps 10 - 60/person
20 minutes to saranac - 30 minutes to Placid

Option #3
"Camp Brig O'Doon"
http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR5573.html
880 for the weekend - sleeps 10 - 88/person
25 minutes to Saranac - 40 minutes to Placid

Option #4 OPTION #4 IS NOW GONE AS IT IS BOOKED
"Franklin Family Farm"
http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR5603.html
1000 for the weekend - sleeps 14 - 72/person
20 minutes to Sranac - 20 minutes to Placid

Option #5
"Cozy Cabin"
http://www.adkbyowner.com/listings/VR5466.html
800 for the weekend - sleeps 12 - 67/person
15 minuts to Sranac - 15 minutes to Placid

Please list your choice below and keep it brief. If there is not enough interest we will have to stay at Meadowbrook campground. For the record - when it rains this sucks and sucks big time. The cost for this will be about $30 /person.

Thanks

Option for me The Pines #1 But as destructive as we are we might be safer at the campgrounds.

We never had issues at a cabin and they are nicer. We seem to have problems at the campground and it sucks. Time to go back to what works,

Ok then I still choose #1 but will people spend the extra money. Did you see my edit for your first message on this subject #4 is booked now

I would spend it in a heartbeat.....the campsite is soooooo annoying....if it rains i'd rather have just stayed home and it sucks to set up and tear down before you leave. heck yeah - cabins. People can camp if they want to, but if there is enough interest in a cabin then those people will stay in the cabins.

I don't mind camping, but those campground by Tail-o-the-pup tend to suck because they're state campgrounds and they try to be family friendly. I really don't care, although I prefer to stay closer to where we're going to drink and play.

Meadowbrook are the only campgrounds, unless we go out to Whiteface again, which was super far away (40 minutes from Saranac Lake)
